As a member of HR Dept. day in day out you have to conduct interviews of an innumerable number of people, in order to narrow down the right person to fit with your organization. You must realize that this process is not simply interviewing, but determining the future success of the company, it is so important that you should make sure to follow the below mentioned tips:
• Design a consistent interviewing process that is followed for each candidate.
• Identify the KSA’s (knowledge, skills and abilities) you are looking for in an ideal candidate.
• Use no closed questions (yes/no type).
• Be direct and specific
• Screen and rate all of the candidates in a set format.
