Recently my office performed an automatic Microsoft upgrade. It was one of the standard ones. But there was a problem. This update completely disabled our internet due to a conflict with the firewall software we use. Zone Alarm had a major conflict with the Microsoft update. It was quickly corrected.

Today was a very slow day in the office. Fridays are usually very slow but today in particular. I guess many people are going out of town and took the day off. Still more just started telecommuting on Fridays. Are Friday’s slow in your office? If so close it down.

Today our router went down. Our server was out for about 2 hours. For some reason the backup router did not work. After fixing the problem we then set up the redundant router. It now appears to be functioning as it should.
